Exhibition ConceptAs part of the exhibition series LOTTO – jedes Los ein Hauptgewinn, a collaboration emerged between the artists Gahee Nam and Lea-Maraike Sambale. Under the title tender attempts, the artists presented individual approaches to interacting with the interior or exterior space of the exhibition window in front of the Südbau of the Kunsthochschule Kassel.
A chained, padded bench measuring 110 × 38 × 46 cm, along with two printed, hanging textiles measuring 312 × 105 cm, temporarily extended the otherwise unused space in front of the exhibition window for a period of three weeks. The individual elements were intended to be moved and repurposed. They functioned simultaneously as space-defining sculpture, gathering site, and structure of empowerment. The possibility of manipulating the individual elements as a group offered visitors the opportunity to actively engage with the exhibition experience.
